A Registered Engineer must design and sign the plans(San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). <br /> E. A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface contamination <br /> report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past <br /> or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous <br /> materials, including agricultural chemical residues,as well as potential point sources, such as <br /> fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. If the report indicates there is <br /> contamination,corrective action shall be taken, as recommended in the report and concurred <br /> with by Environmental Health prior to issuance of the building permit(San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-905.12(a)(c)). <br /> NOTE: <br /> The Environmental Health Department has received and reviewed a Surface/Subsurface <br /> Contamination Report dated March 9,2006. An addendum is required to be submitted to <br /> Environmental Health before the report is deemed approved. <br /> F. Open, pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit or excavation under permit and <br /> inspection by the Environmental Health Department(San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4). <br /> G. A sewage disposal area as indicated by the soil suitability study and/or percolation tests must <br /> be shown for each parcel on the final subdivisions improvement plans(San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). <br /> H. The Environmental Health Department requires the abandoned well(s)be destroyed under <br /> permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department(San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.5(e)). <br /> I. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development(San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3). <br /> OR <br /> The project shall be served by a public water system conforming to the requirements of San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and the Department of Public Works. <br /> The system shall provide adequate domestic and fire water supply in conformance to the <br /> requirements of the County fire Warden and the local Fire District. A test well showing that <br /> the production well will meet all applicable standards is required prior to the approval of the <br /> improvements Plans or any work within the site. <br />
