Attached to the report is a site plan <br /> and a copy of the chain-of-custody form. <br /> The scope of our testing was authorized by Mr. Jim Williams of <br /> Statewide Excavation. <br /> Proiect Description <br /> The project consists of the removal of three <br /> underground storage tanks and the associated piping. <br /> Two of the tanks were 10 , 000 gallon, with recent <br /> product histories of diesel fuel in one and gasoline <br /> fuel in the other. The other tank capacity was 5 , 000 <br /> gallons with a recent product history of gasoline. <br /> 5am2ling Procedure <br /> The soil samples were obtained by Mr. Val Baroni of <br /> our firm on December 30 , 1987 . Sample number 1 was <br /> retrieved from a depth of 22 feet near the northwest <br /> end of the 10 , 000 gallon gasoline tank. Sample number <br /> 2 was taken at a depth of 22 feet from between the two <br /> 10 ,000 gallon tanks . Sample number 3 was retrieved <br /> from a depth of 24 feet near the southeast end of the <br /> 5, 000 gallon gasoline tank. Sample number 4 was taken <br /> from a depth of 20 feet near the northwest end of the <br /> 10 , 000 gallon diesel tank. Sample number 5 is a <br /> composite sample of the contaminated soils stockpiled <br /> on the site . The locations and depths were specified <br /> 7 2527 Fresno Street • P.O.
