It is not intended to include de minimis <br /> conditions that generally do not present a material risk of harm to public health <br /> or the environment and that generally would not be the subject of an <br /> ` enforcement action if brought to the attention of appropriate governmental <br /> agencies. Conditions determined to be de minimis are not recognized <br /> L environmental conditions. <br /> 1.2 Scope of Work <br /> L, The following scope of work was undertaken during the completion of this <br /> report: <br /> Task 1 <br /> _ A site reconnaissance was conducted to visually and physically observe the <br /> Property in an effort to obtain information suggesting Recognized <br /> �- Environmental Conditions of potential concern, including: <br /> L • Observing and recording the physical setting of the Property. <br /> • Observing and documenting the Property and land use, including <br /> adjoining and surrounding properties. <br /> 6. . Interviewing the current Property owner/tenants/maintenance chief, as <br /> available, to obtain information on current and past operations that may <br /> have led to a release of oil, gasoline, solvents, or hazardous material(s) to <br /> L the soil or groundwater, and information regarding the presence of <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs), hydraulic lifts, asbestos, <br /> polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), etc. on site. <br /> L • Observing and documenting conditions that may be indicative of past or <br /> present releases and practices, including taking color photographs <br /> showing the general property and surrounding areas. <br /> • Observing and documenting the presence and/or absence and the <br /> condition and apparent regulatory compliance status of prior and current <br /> aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), USTs, chemical storage areas, <br /> 6. hydraulic lifts, septic fields, drainage systems, oil/water separators, <br /> central vehicle fluid (i.e., oil, grease, transmission fluid, etc.) dispensing <br /> L systems, etc., including photographing the location and condition of these <br /> observed areas. <br /> • Observing and recording the presence or absence of chemical substances <br /> L and/or debris, including the number of drums/containers, size, estimated <br /> L2937 Venenran Ave.,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
