July 28.zoo<
Page d All levels were cons,ed to be in the normal range for churcrte's according to Dave Welch,
Pa
Engineer for Neil Anderson and Associates. See attatchment.
7. PROPOSED TEMPORARY WASTE WATER SYSTEM DESIGN
Phase I - An interim septic tank system.Building I (muti-purpose) and future Building 2 (learning
center)
Overview -4" lines gravity fed into two standard 1900 gallon tanks with the effluent
pumped to a distribution box and (5) 100' leach lines with a 2' x 6' x 8'sump at the end of
each line. See architectural design in appendix.
Phase 2 - Single family residence
Overview - Standard, single residence waste water system design.
Phase 3 - Sanctuary and allother future buildings
Overvie - A package treatment system or connection to city sewer.
8. CONCLUSION
We have had a unique opportunity to actually track our water use because of the
available holding tank. The actual gallons per person/per day is, in fact, very low
(only 3 ounces). Possible reasons for this low figure are as follows:
1. We provide waterless hand washing substitutes on the counters next
to the lavatories.
2. Typically, we don't have many full-service, food related events. (usually only
two or three large functions in a year).
3. Low water usage equipment has been installed throughout the building.
4. There is 1 day where the usage is heavier than others,Sunday, but the average is calculat-
ed on 7 days a week. If we take an amount of 600 people (average for a sunday) then the
PPPD is 1.7 gals .
