The <br /> following conditions shall be addressed prior to submittal of a building permit application to the <br /> Building Inspection Division: <br /> 1. A building permit for each separate structure or building is required. Submit plans, <br /> Specifications and supporting calculations, prepared by a Registered Design <br /> Professional(architect or engineer)for each structure or building, showing compliance with <br /> The 2016 California Building, Existing Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Energy <br /> and Fire Codes as may be applicable. Plans for the different buildings or structures may be <br /> combined into a single set of construction documents. <br /> 2. As noted in the Project Description, an existing 1600 square foot building is to be utilized. <br /> The proposed change in use of this building will constitute a change of occupancy. A <br /> change of occupancy will require a code analysis report and necessary plans prepared by <br /> an architect or engineer in accordance with the California Existing Building Code. <br /> Modifications to the existing building shall also include upgrades related to disability access. <br /> The report and plans shall identify existing conditions, propose alterations necessary to <br /> bring the building in compliance with the current code and include the following: <br /> a.
