Please note these changes in the following revised
section.
1.2 Proposed Development
According to Robert Edelman, the proposed development for the property is to demolish or
remove all currently existing trailers and boat storage on site. The marina snack shop and office will
remain. The construction will include the modification of one septic system near the southwest '
portion of the property which serves the snack shop, office and a toilet and shower room. This
system will be replaced by a standard septic system to serve the toilets, showers, the office and snack
shop.
The facility will not be serving the proposed recreational vehicles as previously mentioned in Section
1.2 of the Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study, dated November 27, 2006. No septic
system will be developed on the northern end of the subject property.
The original nitrate load on the subject property, which included the flow from a six bedroom
residence and 39 recreational vehicles as shown below in Table 2, did not prove to cause a buildup
of nitrate in the groundwater above 10 mg/L-N over the long term, or warrant any mitigation
measures.
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industrial Way,Lodi,Califomia 95240 0 209.367.3701 0 209.369.4228 fax ■w .noander mxom
