L
LNovember 27,2006
NOA Project Number. E06115A
7.0 CONCLUSIONS
i In summary, satisfactory percolation rates of the soil were achieved in the proposed septic disposal
` areas of the Site. The area of the proposed septic disposal field for the snack shop and marina office
appears suitable for a standard septic system. The septic disposal area for the recreational vehicles
appears suitable for an engineered septic system. Our office has been contracted by the client to
V prepare an engineered septic system design for the disposal field associated with the 38 recreational
vehicles.
Ground water was encountered at approximately 12.5 feet in the proposed disposal area of the
snack shop and marina office. Groundwater was encountered at 2.8 feet in the proposed disposal
area of the recreational vehicles. The San Joaquin County flood Control and Water Conservation
District found the depth to ground water between approximately 0 and 10 feet below the ground
surface for the period of Fall 1998 and Spring 1999.The on-site water well was tested for nitrate and
DBCP. Neither of the constituents were detected in the tested sample. Please see the attached
LNitrate Loading Study Part II for additional conclusions and recommendations.
L 8.0 LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the
time we excavated our test holes and performed the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test
holes and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
L accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices. This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties either expressed or implied. Test findings and statements of professional
L
opinion do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
L
L
L
I
it
12
L "044
L
