I'lle Environmental Health Department provides oversight for the investigation and <br /> cleanup ol'the petroleum hydrocarbon contamination from the underground storage <br /> tanks previously operated on APN 4017-090-36. Currently,groundwater sample <br /> results from the monitoring wells installed on APN 8017-090-35 have shown that <br /> groundwater on this parcel has been impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons. In <br /> addition, groundwater monitoring for salt contamination 1.4 still being performed with <br /> oversight of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board for the Victor Fine <br /> Foods site(APN ##017-090-5 1) front past manufacturing operations. <br /> The Site currently has abandoned an agricultural well and a well with a 1000-gallon+ <br /> hydromatic tank that was previously used for Mokelunnine River School. Significant <br /> research will need to be done to determine a single source or several sources of <br /> drinking wider that can be provided to meet the needs of any proposed development <br /> without exacerbating the localized groundwater contamination issue. <br /> B. This application refers to rezone tel Industrial Zones,which will require the applicant <br /> to better detcrinine which industrial zone is proposed here. The rel'crence to custom <br /> manufacturing, gasoline sales,construction services,and planning a bUSi1ICSS park <br /> may best be suited for a public wastewater treatment system. 'I'lie project shall be <br /> served by a public sewer collection and treatment system constructed in conformance <br /> with the requirements oftlicSan Joaquin County Environmental I Tealth Department <br /> and the Department of Public Works. A waste water treatment plant study acceptable <br /> to the Department of Public Works and San Joaquin COLMLY Environmental Health <br /> Department is required prior to the approval of the improvement plans of any work <br /> within the Site (Sall joaCiLlin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
