We have compiled a spill prevention, control, and counter measure plan
that we believe complies as requested. The following numbered responses correspond
and address the numbered items on the summary of violations.
#7 The blasting cabinet waste will be treated as a hazardous waste and Ramos
Environmental Services will dispose of it.
#11 The spilled oil on the loading dock's floor has had absorbent spread on it to soak up
the oil. The used oil tank has had the side wiped down with a degreaser and oil
absorbent cloth has been used to collect the surface spillage. We have installed a
permanent funnel with a lid to prevent any spills and the lid will keep water out. All the
absorbent material has been disposed of by Ramos Environmental Services.
#20 All containers used for collecting used oil will be labeled hazardous waste and have
lids. The barrel used for collecting used UV hydraulic fluid will be labeled hazardous
waste, have the generator name and address, the contents, the physical state,
hazardous properties, and an accumulation start date.
#27 The metal scraps and used oil has been cleaned up from the threading machine's
bucket and removed by Ramos Environmental Services.
#50 These items were covered in items #20 and 27 above.
W:\DEL\WSFILES\SPCC PLAN 2010.DOC
