The arithmetic mean biochemical oxygen demand (5-day) and suspended <br /> solids in effluent samples collected in a period of 30 consecutive <br /> days shall not exceed 15 percent of the arithmetic mean of the values <br /> for influent samples collected at approximately the same times during <br /> the same period (85 percent removal ) . <br /> 4. The discharge shall not have a pH less than 6.5 nor greater than 8.5. <br /> 5. The maximum daily dry weather flow shall not exceed 5.8 million <br /> gallons. <br /> 6. The Discharger shall use the best practicable cost-effective control <br /> technique currently available to limit mineralization to no more than <br /> a reasonable increment. <br /> 7. Survival of test fishes in 96-hour bioassays of undiluted waste shall <br /> be no less than: <br /> Minimum for any one bioassay ----------------- 70% <br /> Median for any three or more bioassays ------- 90% <br /> 8. By-pass or overflow of untreated or partially treated waste to <br /> surface waters or surface water draina3e courses is prohibited. <br /> B. Discharge of treated domestic and industrial wastewater to land: <br /> 1. The discharge shall not cause degradation of any water supply. <br />
