The discharge shall remain in the designated disposal area at all <br /> times. <br /> 4. Areas irrigated with domestic wastewater shall have a resting period <br /> of at least 30 days before storm runoff from these areas can be <br /> discharged to surface waters or surface water drainage courses. Storm <br /> runoff within the 30-day resting period shall be contained in <br /> collection systems and/or storage ponds. <br /> 5. The discharge to irrigation areas of domestic wastewater in excess of <br /> the following limits is prohibited: <br /> Constituent Units Monthly Average Daily Maximam <br /> 8005* mg/1 40.0 80.0 <br /> Settleable Matter ml/1 0.2 0.5 <br /> *5-Day, 20% Biochemical Oxygen Demand <br /> 6. The dissolved oxygen concentration in the industrial aeration ponds <br /> and domestic and industrial holding ponds shall not be less than 1.0 <br /> mg/l for 16 hours in any 24 hour period. <br /> C. Sludge Disposal : <br /> 1. Collected screening, sludges , and other solids removed from liquid <br /> wastes shall be disposed of in a manner approved by the Executive <br /> Officer. <br /> D. Receiving Water Limitations: <br /> 1. The Discharger shall not cause the dissolved oxygen concentration in <br /> either White Slough or Bishop Cut to fall below 5.0 mg/l . When <br /> dissolved oxygen concentrations fall below these limits, the discharge <br /> of wastes to surface waters is prohibited. <br /> 2. The discharge shall not cause vis'ble oil , grease, scum, foam, <br /> floating or suspended material in the receiving waters or water- <br /> courses. <br /> 3. The discharge shall not cause concentrations of any materials in the <br /> receiving waters which are deleterious to human, animal , aquatic, or <br /> plant life. <br /> 4. The discharge shall not cause esthetically undesirable discoloration <br /> of the receiving waters. <br />
