Atten- <br /> tion shall be given to the presence or absence of: <br /> a. Floating or suspended matter <br /> b. Discoloration <br /> C. Bottom deposits <br /> d. Aquatic life <br /> Notes on receiving water conditions shall be summarized in the monitoring <br /> report. <br /> WATER SUPPLY MONITORING <br /> A sampling station shall be established where a representative sample of the <br /> municipal water supply can be obtained. The following shall constitute the <br /> water supply monitoring program: <br /> Constituents Units Sampling Frequent <br /> Standard Minerals mg/l Yearly, at the same time <br /> as effluent samples <br /> Specific Conductivity umhos/cm @ 25°C Monthly <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Monthly <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> Ground water upgradient and downgradient of the industrial and domestic waste- <br /> water treatment facilities, and the irrigation areas shall be sampled quarterly. <br /> Prior to construction, plans and specifications for ground water monitoring <br /> wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and approval . Before <br /> sampling, the wells shall be purged with at least three well volumes. These <br /> wells shall be operational by 1 May 1986. A baseline ground water quality data <br />
