t
and would not change its classification.
6'. Infection Fluid Limitation
(a) The permittee shall not inject any hazardous wastes
as defined by 40 CFR 261, at any time during the
operation of the facility.
(b) 98% of the injection fluid shall consist of brine
reject from_the ultrafiltration units, reverse
osmosis units and the blowdown from the cooling
towers. The other 2% of the liquid wastes intended
for injection will consist of both continuous and
intermittent blowdown from the Heat Recovery
Boilers.
(c) The injection of any fluids other than those
described in paragraph (b) , above, shall be reported
to the Director thirty (30) days prior to the
injection of the substance. Written approval by the
Director is required for change of injection fluids.
7. Annulus Measurements The annulus between the tubing and
the long string casing will contain approximately 449
cubic feet (3360 gallons) of treated 3 percent KC1 water
to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. A minimum
surface annular pressure of 100 psig shall be maintained
at all times.
D. MONITORING, RECORDKEEPING, AND REPORTING OF RESULTS
1. Injection Well Monitoring Program Samples and
measurements shall be representative of the monitored
activity. The permittee shall utilize the applicable
analytical methods described in Table I of 40 CFR 136. 3,
or in Appendix III of 40 CFR 261, or in certain
circumstances, other methods that have been approved by
the EPA Administrator. Reporting shall consist of
average, maximum, and minimum daily and monthly values
for injection pressure, annular pressure, flow rate,
temperature and volume.
Temperature, annular pressure, and injection pressure
shall be measured at the wellhead. Injection rate/flow
rate shall be measured in the supply line immediately
before the wellhead.
2.
