KLEI NFEL DER
Task 3 -Analysis Of Data And Report Preparation
Upon completion of the soil sampling and our receipt and review of the analytical results, a
report will be prepared for client review. The report will include:
• A description of field activities, observations, and protocols;
• Lithologic logs and, if appropriate, interpreted geologic cross sections;
• Tabularized results of soil sample analysis with copies of certified analytical
laboratory results with chain-of-custody documentation;
• Conclusions and recommendations.
All information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder is considered confidential and will be
released only upon written authorization from the client or as required by law. California law
requires a person to inform the state if a situation is encountered that can be considered an
immediate endangerment to the public's health or welfare and/or to the environment.
ASSUMPTIONS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The proposed scope of services and estimated budget are based on the following:
• The cover letter(attached) is an integral part of this proposal.
• The client will provide Kleinfelder with the authorization to access all properties. The
client will provide a written right of entry authorization.
• This proposal, and the attached cost estimate, assumes that Beck Development will have
all lot lines surveyed and clearly marked prior to initiation of the filed work.
• The Geoprobes will be advanced with a truck-mounted pneumatic equipment. If difficult
sub-surface conditions are encountered, alternative sampling methods, such as hollow-
stem auger drilling, may be necessary at an additional charge to Beck Development.
• Soil and water generated during the sampling will be the responsibility of the client. Soil
cuttings will be placed on and covered by visqueen. Steam cleaning water will be placed
in a drum. Both wastes will be left on site. Sampling and analysis of the contained soil
and water may be necessary prior to disposal. Disposal or remediation options for the
soil and water can be assessed once analytical results have been received. Kleinfelder is
prepared to assist the client and to remediate or dispose of stockpiled soil and water, if
requested.
20-YP8-160/2018P 1822018C356 Page A-4
© 1998, Kleinfelder, Inc.
