• Report of Groundwater Monitoring • Beck Development Company
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
•
On 4 April 1988, AEMC obtained depth to groundwater measurements from the three
monitoring wells in Tracy, California. Refer to Attachment 1 for field readings and Figure
• 1 for the April 1988 groundwater gradient.
On 18 August 1988, AEMC performed groundwater monitoring and sampling. Refer to
Attachments 2 and 3 for field readings and Figure 2 for the August 1988 groundwater
• gradient. The following activities were performed for each well:
1. Measurement of depth to water level;
2. Check for free-floating product, using a clean, clear acrylic bailer;
• 3. Purge well with a clean acrylic bailer until stabilization of pH and temperature;
4. Collection of groundwater samples with a clean stainless steel bailer;
5. Samples labeled, placed on ice in cooler, and documented on chain-of-custody
• form; and
6. Prompt delivery of samples to the AEMC Laboratory (State Certification No.
210) in Rancho Cordova for analysis of Aromatic Volatile Organics (EPA
Method 602) and Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (EPA Method 610).
•
•
•
•
,1b-09c2> Page 2
•
