I want to thank you, Mr. Sneh and Dr. Luthra for meeting with us to discuss the status of the extensive environmental investigation of our Tracy site; identifying DHS ' s remaining issues of concern; specifying the objectives of the DHS; and quantifying the analytical objective of the proposed Health Risk Assessment. It was our understanding that Beck Development Co.' through its environmental consultant, Stephen Boll of Kleinfelder, Inc. , would prepare and submit to you for your approval, a work plan for the preparation of a Health Risk Assessment of the existing site and the proposed development of the site. The Health Risk Assessment would evaluate: 1 . Arsenic, total chrome ar-1 nickel; 2 . DDE, DDT and Dieldrin; and 3 . PNA and �rPH at 5 to 7 feet within the tank storage area during and after development. 4 . A base line study on current conditions using residential exposure. No "significant cancer risk" wil� be defined in the range of 1 x 10-6 (one in a million) to 1 x 10 (one in 100 , 000 ) .
