The associated quality assurance/quality control data for method blanks, and matrix spike/matrix spike
duplicates were submitted using a water matrix and method 8015M for TPH-g, and method 82608 for MTBE,
BTEX, and IPA. Please clarify whether vapor-phase calibration standards were used to generate the initial
calibration and daily calibration check as opposed to water-phase calibration standards used to generate the
initial calibration and daily calibration check associated with the samples.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
Fax: (209)468-3433
Email: v_mccartneyPn sjcehd.com
From: Tim Cuellar [mai Ito:tcuellar@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Tuesday, July 07, 2009 3:06 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: Lodi Airport, Geotracker rejections
Vicki,
On 23 June, you rejected Lodi Airport analytical reasons for soil gas samples for the following
reasons:
'The methods used to analyze the soil gas samples were modified 8260 and 8015 not T03 and TO 15. TPH was
reported as aviation gasoline, not gasoline'.
However, when I followed up, the hard copies of the analytical report state T03 and T015. Could you please
explain where you found the error?
Thanks-tim
7/10/2009
