0
Golden Eagle Aviation Page 2
23987 North Highway 99 Jannaryl3,2009
Acampo, California 95220
The EHD directs that the fieldwork involving the advancement of fourteen soil borings be
completed by March 19, 2009, and the report of findings be submitted to the EHD within sixty
days of completing the work. Failure to comply with the EHD deadlines may result in a referral
to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for enforcement action.
In quarterly groundwater monitoring reports, AGE has recommended reducing groundwater
sampling to an annual occurrence for monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, and domestic well
DW-1. The EHD concurs with the recommendation. If groundwater is unable to be collected
from all four wells during a sampling event, collect groundwater samples during the following
quarter or the next time there is sufficient groundwater for sampling.
Submit a well/boring permit application and permit/inspection fee of$404 to the EHD and notify
the EHD at least a week prior to initiating the approved fieldwork. Please contact Vicki
McCartney, Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at(209)468-9852, or by email at
vmccartney[usicehd.com if you have any questions regarding this letter.
Sincerely,
Victoria L.
