Box 809046 PER MIT/SERb`ICES
Dallas, TX 75380-9046
EVALUATION OF PUMPING TEST AT THE OVERHEAD/LODI DOOR COMPANY (O/LDC) FACILITY IN
LODI, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
On 27 July 1990, we received your letter addressing our concerns about the
adequacy of the pumping test performed at the 0/LDC facility in Lodi . The test
was performed on 26 March 1990, by Remediation Services, Inc. . We are drafting
a response to your letter, which will be one of the topics discussed at the 30
August 1990 meeting between you, Linda Hogg (from the Department of Health
Services) , Jean McCue and I . We also plan to discuss our concerns regarding
concentrations of chromium above the drinking water standard in monitoring wells
at the facility.
We recently sent you a summary of water quality data for the facility. Please
review the data, prior to our meeting. The summary shows that although nickel
has dissipated in the ground water to where it is no longer detectable ,
concentrations of chromium remain above the drinking water standard of 0.05 µg/l
in monitoring well MW-1, and fluctuate above and below the drinking water standard
in MW-2.
We look forward to meeting with you at the end of the month and hope to resolve
these issues. If you have any questions, please call Jean McCue at (916) 361-
5729.
r, R Pv"
vc GREG K.
