' 0 hn KLEINFELDER <br /> ' o Chromium was reported at higher concentrations in the MW-1 blind <br /> ' duplicate sample analyzed by CAL/Enseco than by the routine MW-1 <br /> samples analyzed by APPL. APPL utilized AA and Enseco utilized <br /> ' ICP for these analyses. <br /> ' o Although mercury was reported by APPL in all monitoring well <br /> samples, it was not detected by CAL/Enseco in the MW-1 blind <br /> duplicate sample. Both laboratories used the same detection <br /> limit and utilized AA for the analyses. <br /> ' o Selenium was reported by CAL/Enseco in the MW-1 blind duplicate <br /> sample at a concentration just above the detection limit. It was <br /> ' not detected by APPL with a higher detection limit. Both <br /> laboratories utilized AA for the analyses. <br /> o Thallium was reported by APPL in MW-2 and MW-1 samples at <br /> ' concentrations just above the detection limit and approximately <br /> equal to the ground water quality objective. Thallium was not <br /> detected by CAL/Enseco in the MW-1 blind duplicate sample at a <br /> ' lower detection limit. Both laboratories utilized AA for the <br /> analyses. <br /> ' o Zinc was reported by APPL in all samples including the field <br /> ' blank. It was detected at lower concentrations by CAL/Enseco in <br /> the MW-1 blind duplicate sample than by APPL in the routine MW-1 <br /> ' sample. Both laboratories used the same detection limits; <br /> however, Enseco utilized ICP and APPL used AA for the analyses. <br /> ' Constituents with reported concentrations equal to or greater than the <br /> ground water quality objectives are nickel and nitrate in MW-1 samples, <br /> tand nickel, thallium, and nitrate in MW-2 samples. Nickel was reported at <br /> lower concentrations in the MW-1 duplicate sample, as measured by ICP, <br /> than in the MW-1 routine sample, as measured by AA. Thallium was not <br /> detected in the MW-1 blind duplicate sample but was detected in the MW-1 <br /> troutine sample. Nitrates were not analyzed by CAL/Enseco. <br /> 57-87-621 1 5 <br />
