Personnel Training RECEIVED <br />The company provides a variety of training to all personnel, including coiri�AUW <br />training for new hires appropriate to the position, followed by rcFWEAI?tgL HEALTH <br />specified intervals. This is summarized in the company's Injury and IllP§P#aT <br />Program (IIPP) under Employee Training, a copy of which is attached. <br />The company maintains individual files for each employee. These contain necessary <br />administrative information, in addition to the following: <br />• Records of all initial training received. <br />• Acknowledgment of receipt of training and company policies and procedures. <br />• List of handbooks and other information received. <br />• List of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued to the individual. <br />Initial training is provided by the company safety manager and driver training specialists. <br />It involves classroom training, hands on training (drivers), and video training. <br />Refresher training is generally provided quarterly; topics are varied to ensure broad <br />reinforcement over time. Records are maintained on a group basis and individually for <br />this training. Topics include Hazardous Materials, MSDS, Heat Stress, Confined Space <br />Entry, Lock -out Tag -out, Spill Prevention, Slug Discharge Prevention, Emergency <br />Response, etc. <br />This training for wash rack, pretreatment plant and maintenance personnel is provided by <br />Guy Roy, a chemical engineer with many years experience working with hazardous <br />chemicals, conducting cleanups, etc. He provides 24 hr. and 8 hr. refresher HAZWOPER <br />training per 29 CFR 1910.120 to various clients, and has prepared and maintains a <br />comprehensive training guide. <br />Hazardous Waste Management procedures are also attached. These provide employee <br />classifications, position descriptions, training provided and records maintained. <br />
