Drivers — require driver training, trailer loading and unloading, hazardous <br />materials handling, personal protective equipment, respirator, heat stress and <br />noise training. <br />2. Transloaders — require truck trailer and rail car training, trailer and rail car loading <br />and unloading, hazardous materials handling, personal -protective equipment, <br />respirator, heat stress, noise and emergency procedures training. <br />3. Wash rack technicians — require wash system training, confined space entry, <br />personal protective equipment, respirator, heat stress, noise and hazardous <br />materials training. <br />4. Wastewater treatment plant operators — require treatment plant operation training, <br />slug discharge control, personal protective equipment, respirator, heat stress, <br />noise and hazardous materials training. <br />5. Maintenance personnel — require truck and trailer training, mechanical equipment <br />safety training, lock-out/tag-out, confined space entry, personal protective <br />equipment, respirator, heat stress, noise and hazardous materials training. <br />To accomplish the listed training requirements, the Company uses a number of <br />techniques, at various times, including: <br />.New Hires — receive comprehensive training appropriate to the position for which they <br />were hired, such as hands on driver training, video training including: <br />• Drug and Alcohol Policy <br />• Right to Know - MSDS <br />• Hazardous Materials Basic Training <br />+ Right to Know — Hazard Communication Labels <br />• Emergency Response <br />• Respiratory Protection <br />• Sodium Chlorite — Working with it Safely <br />• Caustic Soda handling <br />• Hydrochloric Acid handling <br />• Nitric Acid handling <br />• Sulfuric Acid handling <br />They also receive handbooks and are issued appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. <br />Quarterly Safety Meetings — topics selected for specific group, varied to provide <br />reinforcement over time — including: <br />• Hazardous Materials — hazard class, routes of entry, toxicology, <br />permissible exposure limit, MSDS <br />California Tank Lines, Inc. and Chemical Transfer Co. <br />
