PUBLIC NOTICE Py
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for
remediation of an underground leaking storage tank site located at
2185 E. The plan is a proposal
for mitigation of hazardous substances which contaminated the site
due to unauthorized releases associated with underground storage
tanks (UST) which were located on 'the property.
PHS/EHD, Local UST oversight Program, has made a * tentative
determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not
create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the
benefits to be gained from' cl.eanup of the contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the
San Joaquin/Stockton Public Library, 2370 E. Main Street and
PHS/EHD, 445 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California, during
normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. If a written request
by any member of the public for a public hearing is not received by
PHS/EHD by November 30, 1992 the tentative decision shall become
final on that date and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to
PHS/EHD at P.O. Box 2009, Stockton, 95201. Questions regarding the
specific site or procedures should be directed to Michael Infurna,
Senior RENS, at (209) 468-3454.
Dated: October 30, 199
d
By: Laurie Cotull pogram Manager, Unit IV
