Initial laboratory results indicated that two
of the monitoring wells exhibited detectable amounts of petroleum hydrocarbons. Both
of the soil borings exhibited non-detectable amounts of petroleum hydrocarbons.
The three 10,000 gallon underground storage tanks, product lines and dispensers were
removed from the site on March 8, 1993,
A Limited Soil Gas Survey and Vacuum Extraction Feasibility Test was completed in
mid March 1993, with favorable results for future vapor extraction.
Drilled site to confirm the completion of soil remediation in mid-June 1995.
SUNIlVIARY OF THIS UARTER'S ACTIVITIES:
Quarterly monitoring sampling was performed on May 30, 1996.
RESULT OF QUARTERLY MONITORING:
Groundwater analyses show that none of the monitoring wells contain detectable
amounts of TPH as gasoline and benzene, except MW-2, which has 58 parts-per-billion
(ppb) TPH as gasoline and MW-3 which has 0.93 ppb benzene.
PROPOSED ACTIVITY OR WORK FOR NEXTQUARTER:
ACTIVITY ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE
Third Quarter Monitoring August 1996 ???
Submit site for closure July 1996
BEACON
A Member of the Ultramar Group of Companies #1 Quality and Service
