NO: 209-583-5571 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Due to a possible real estate divestment three ground-water <br /> monitoring wells and two soil borings were completed in April <br /> 1992 Initial laboratory results indicated that two of the <br /> monitoring wells exhibited detectable amounts of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons. Both of the soil borings exhibited <br /> non-detectable amounts of petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> SUMMARY OF THIS QUARTER'S ACTIVITIES: <br /> Quarterly monitoring was performed on July 15, 1992. <br /> RESULT OF QUARTERLY MONITORING: <br /> Depth-to-water measurements show the elevation of the water <br /> surface in the three ground-water monitoring wells to be <br /> within 0.04-feet of each other <br /> Ground-water analyses show all three wells contain detectable <br /> amounts of benzene and TPH as gasoline. <br /> PROPOSED ACTIVITY OR WORK FOR NEXTQUARTER: <br /> ACTIVITY ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE <br /> Fourth Quarter Monitoring October 1992 <br /> Install two more ground-water <br /> monitoring wells and two more borings October 1992 <br /> is Replace the three UST's November 1992 <br /> BEACON <br /> A Member of the Ultramar Group of Companies #1 Quality and Service <br />
