(AMV), prepared for Ultramar Inc. (Ultramar) this
. Self-Monitoring Report as required by the provisions of the City of Stockton Self-Monitoring
Program for discharge to the sanitary sewer. This report presents the results of all
measurements and analyses during the period from April 29, 1994 through May 31, 1994.
Included in this report is a summary of the ground water extraction system performance as
monitored during routine operation and maintenance activities.
Operation of the ground water extraction system during the reporting period resulted in no
violations of the waste discharge requirements.
Compliance Evaluation Summary
During the reporting period, the ground water extraction system ran approximately 16 days over
the 33-day period and discharged an average of 268 gallons per day. The system was down
approximately 17 days due to a high-liquid shutdown in the secondary containment tank caused
by an apparent leak in the pump discharge line to the receiving tank. The problem was rectified
on May 16, 1994, and the system ran continuously for the remainder of the period. The
cumulative volume of ground water discharged as of May 31, 1994, was 70,858 gallons.
Per the requirements outlined in the Self-Monitoring Program sampling schedule, ground water
extracted at the site (Figure 1) by continuously pumping monitoring well MW-3 was sampled
twice during the reporting period for laboratory analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and
Irptlos.mj
4511 Golden Foothill Parkway,Suite 1 (916) 939-7550
Fl Dorado Hills, California 95762 Fax (916) 939-7570
