Earnest TEL. NO: 209-583-5571 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Due to a possible real estate divestment three ground-water <br /> monitoring wells and two soil borings were completed in April <br /> 1992. Initial laboratory results indicated that two of the <br /> .; monitoring wells exhibited detectable amounts of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons. Both of the soil borings exhibited <br /> non-detectable amounts of petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> The three 10,000 gallon underground storage tanks, product <br /> lines and dispensers were removed from the site on March 8, <br /> 1993. <br /> A Limited Soil Gas Survey and Vacuum Extraction Feasibility <br /> Test was completed in mid March 1993, with favorable results <br /> for future vapor extraction. <br /> SUMMARY OF THIS -QUARTER'S ACTIVITIES: <br /> Quarterly monitoring was performed on October 26, 1993. <br /> RESULT OF QUARTERLY MONITORING: <br /> Ground-water analyses show MW-3 and MW-4 to contain the <br /> largest amounts. ' of benzene at 3,100 and 100 parts per billion <br /> respectively.
