(75 r ` <br /> • '"I 29 PM Consulting Scientists, Engineers, and Geologists <br /> March 22, 1995 <br /> Mr Kenneth Earnest <br /> Ultramar Inc <br /> 525 West Third Street <br /> Hanford, California 93230 19005 1017 <br /> Subject March 1995 Self-Monitoring Report for Former Beacon Station #494 <br /> 2185 East Fremont Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Earnest <br /> Acton • Mickelson • van Dam, Inc (AMV), prepared this Self-Monitoring Report for Ultramar <br /> Inc (Ultramar), as required by the provisions of the City of Stockton Self-Monitoring Program <br /> for discharge to the sanitary sewer This report presents the results of measurements and <br /> analyses during the period from February 23, 1995 through March 13, 1995 Included in this <br /> report is a summary of the ground water extraction system performance as monitored during <br /> routine operation and maintenance activities <br /> Operation of the ground water extraction system during the reporting period resulted in no <br /> violations of the waste discharge requirements <br /> Compliance Evaluation Summary <br /> During the reporting period, the ground water extraction system ran continuously and discharged <br /> 10,118 gallons, for an average of 562 gallons per day The cumulative volume of ground water <br /> discharged as of March 13, 1995 was 180,069 gallons <br /> Per the requirements outlined in the Self-Monitoring Program sampling schedule, ground water <br /> extracted at the site (Figure 1) by continuously pumping monitoring well MW-3 was sampled <br /> twice during the reporting period for laboratory analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and <br /> xylenes (BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) Analytical results for <br /> samples collected on March 2 and 13, 1995 indicated concentrations of TPHg to be <50 <br /> micrograms per liter (µgll) and 52 µgll, respectively The concentration of dissolved benzene <br /> ranged from 0 51 1Ag11 on March 2 to 6 8 µg/l on March 13, 1995 Enclosure A contains copies <br /> of the laboratory analytical reports and chain-of-custody forms <br /> • crpro52 ame <br /> 4511 Golden Foothill Pail.ssa�, Surto- t (916) 939-7550 <br /> El Dorado Hills, California 95762 Fax (916) 939-7570 <br />
