(AMV), prepared this letter to document remediation <br /> activity at the referenced site during the third quarter of 1994, specifically, the period from <br /> June 22 to September 22, 1994 Table 1 summarizes the performance of the vapor extraction <br /> system Figure 1 graphically presents hydrocarbon extraction rates versus time for the vapor <br /> extraction system <br /> The vapor extraction system ran a total of 77 days in the 92-day reporting period for an <br /> operating efficiency of 84 percent Following is a month-by-month summary of activity for both <br /> the vapor extraction system and ground water extraction system <br /> June 22 to July 20, 1994 <br /> The vapor extraction system ran continuously during the 28-day reporting period Over the <br /> 28-day operating period, the vapor extraction system extracted an estimated 437 pounds of <br /> hydrocarbons (based on field readings) Laboratory results for influent air bag samples collected <br /> on July 6 and 20, 1994, indicated the average benzene fraction was 0 15 percent The resulting <br /> estimated benzene extraction was 0 6 pound As of July 20, 1994, the cumulative totals for <br /> extraction amounts since start-up of the system were 12,093 pounds of hydrocarbons and 211 <br /> pounds of benzene <br /> During this reporting period, the ground water extraction system pumped continuously and <br /> extracted 8,633 gallons of water from monitoring well MW-3 As of July 20, 1994, the ground <br /> water extraction system extracted a cumulative total of 91,172 gallons from monitoring <br /> well MW-3 <br /> irpt151 mi <br /> 4511 Golden Foothill Parkway, Sults 1 (916) 939-7550 <br /> El Dorado Hills,Cahfornia 95762 Pax (916)939-7571} <br />
