All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding <br /> or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when <br /> not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> A 55 gallon black steel drum of waste absorbent was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with no <br /> accumulation start date. Waste absorbent has not been disposed of by the facility in the past three years. Facilities <br /> who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at <br /> any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose <br /> of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A 55 gallon black steel drum of waste absorbent was observed with a faded, illegible hazardous waste label . All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties(ignitable, corrosive, reactive,toxic) <br /> - physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label this container and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil and fuel filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of <br /> each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years.
