The hazardous waste tanks (used oil and antifreeze) have not been assessed by a professional <br /> engineer. The assessment document is site specific and must be signed and stamped by a California <br /> professional engineer qualified to perform hazardous waste tank assessments. Usually the engineer will <br /> be a civil, structural or geotechnical engineer. This assessment is required for large quantity generator <br /> facilities with hazardous waste tanks and must be renewed every five years. <br /> Tanks are defined as storage devices not designed to be moved when full. By January2u, 2014, send a <br /> statement to the Environmental Health Department (EHD) explaining when the tank assessment will be <br /> done. Send a copy of the tank assessment to the EHD when it is completed. <br /> 404. The oily solids hazardous waste container had one of the top screw-cap lids missing. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste. <br /> 605. The oily solids hazardous waste container was missing the accumulation start date. Oily solids <br /> were last manifested off site on 9-23-13. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the <br /> following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. <br /> Notes <br /> 1. Complete the following by January z, 2014 and send to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department: <br /> a. The Return to Compliance Certification form. <br /> b. A statement explaining how each violation was corrected. <br /> c.
