Prevention of a release is achieve through in- <br /> ventory reconciliation, tank testing maintenance of facility equipment and <br /> employee training. <br /> In the event of a release, employees have been instructed to respond quickly <br /> so the extent of the release can be minimized. Employees have been instruct <br /> to immediately stop the release (i.e. , turn off the power, close the valve, <br /> etc. ) and use absorbant to contain the release and prevent it 's spread to <br /> critical areas such as storm drains or adjacent properties. Based on the <br /> size of the facility and emergency equipment available on site, only small <br /> releases can safely be addressed. A large release can only be addressed <br /> I COMnressed Gages* with assistance from emergency response personnel and/or <br /> ( your procedures for Deanna contractors. <br /> spo g to a compressed gas release). <br /> In the event carbon dioxide cylinder develops a leak, storage room and <br /> entire sales building will be evacuated of all personnel, customers and the <br /> buildings will be thoroughly ventilated. <br /> 3.
