SOIL AND GROUNDWATER <br /> ' UND WATER QUALITY EVALUATION <br /> NORTH CHEROKEE LANE BURGER KING <br /> L <br /> 1' 1.0 INTRODUCTION ODI, CALIFORNIA <br /> In this report, we present the results of the soil and 1.1 <br /> ' ground water quality evaluation at the Lodi Burger Purpose <br /> King site located at 230 North Cherokee Lane in Lodi, <br /> California (Figures 1 and 2). This work was performed <br /> for Borel Bank and Trust Company to evaluate <br /> ' subsurface conditions. <br /> The scope of work performed was outlined in our 1.2 Scope of Work <br /> scope of work dated April 25, 1995 and included: <br /> V Drilling and logging of six exploratory borings. <br /> ' Collection of selected soil samples for laboratory <br /> analysis. <br /> ' Collection of one ground water grab sample for <br /> laboratory analysis. <br /> 2.0 SOIL AND GROUND WATER QUALITY EVALUATION <br /> On May 4 and 5, 1995, environmental engineer Brock 2.1 Subsurface <br />' Foster directed a subsurface exploration program and Investigation <br /> logged six borings (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4, EB-5, and EB{) <br />' to approximate depths of 15 feet, with the exception of <br /> boring EB-2 which was drilled into the shallow water <br /> bearing zone at a depth of approximately 55 feet. Soil <br /> samples were obtained from the borings at 5-foot <br /> depth intervals or significant changes in lithology. <br /> Ground�rnwaater was encountered at an approximate <br /> IE� SSCCIA� Page 1 <br />
