Giannoni
2126 Grenoble Dr.
Lodi, CA 95242
Subject: Installation of Water Quality Monitoring Wells
204 E. Lodi Avenue
Lodi, CA
As I am sure you are aware, Mrs. Mary Lehr, owner of Arts and
Artists, has been required by the Environmental Health Division of
San Joaquin County to investigate soil and ground water
contamination on her property. Two ground water monitoring wells
were drilled by a previous consultant on your property in 1987 , and
the county is requiring that an additional well be constructed in
the near future. With your permission, we would like to install
this well in early May, if possible. Our workplan has been accepted
by Mary Meays of Environmental Health, insuring that the work will
be done properly according to county regulations, and she will be
on site to observe the drilling.
The attached map shows the location of the proposed well. This
location is dictated by the information obtained from the existing
wells, and is preferred over other alternatives. The well will be
drilled to a depth of 70 feet, which will require the drill rig to
be on location for approximately four hours. We will attempt to
minimize the incovenience to your customers during that period.
We would appreciate it if you would sign the attached authorization
statement and return it to our office at your earliest convenience.
If you have any questions regarding our request, please do not
hesitate to telephone us at the number shown below.
Sincerely,
GEOLO ICAL AUDIT SERVICES, INC.
Victor B.
