.. - A f!; F <br /> I <br /> WATER LEVEL MEASUREMENT PROTOCOL <br /> A SolinstTM electric water Ievel meter will be used 'to measure the depth to <br /> water. !Depths will be. measured to an accuracy of 0.01 feet from a designated point on <br /> the top,, of each well casing. Prior to use at each monitoring well, the water sensing <br /> probe and a portion of the measuring tape will be washed with TSPTM (tri-sodium <br /> phosphate), rinsed with clean tap water and deionized water, then allowed to air dry <br /> to reduce the possibility of cross-contamination. The water level probe will be <br /> lowered until the top of the water . surface within the monitoring well is detected. <br /> Once the water surface is detected, a continuous signal from the meter will sound... . <br /> The depth to water measurement will be performed at least ,three times for each <br /> monitoring well to verify the initial measurement obtained. A final depth to water <br /> h <br /> measurement will be recorded on a standard ESE form. <br /> _ I <br /> .i <br />
