Depths will be measured to an accuracy. of 0.01 feet from a designated point on <br /> .. r <br /> the top of each well .casing. Prior to use at each monitoring well, the water sensing <br /> probe' and a portion of the measuring tape will be washed. with TSP'M (tri-sodium <br /> phosphate), rinsed with clean tap water and deionized water, then allowed to air dry <br /> to reduce the possibility of cross-cor4amination. The' water level probe will be� <br /> lowered until the top of the water surface within the monitoring well is detected. +: <br /> Once'' the water surface is detected, a continuous signal from the meter will sound. <br /> The ;depth to water measurement will be performed at least three times for each <br /> monitoring well to verify the initial measurement obtained.
