{ s
V. GROUND WATER DEPTH .AND TESTING
Currently there is a well on Parcel 1 serving Parcel- 1 wotj the water
test attached and a new well was drilled on Parcel 2 under a seperate well
permit and the well driller should be taking the necessary water smp1es for
that well. The existing well is providing the water for the owners private
gardens and walnut trees. The Property is being divided into two (2) 3.18
acre parcels with the existing well to a depth of 140' t.
Vl. SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATION TESTS
Two test holes for percolation were drilled to a depth of 14' and 25'
respectively for parcels 1 & 2, both being 12" in diameter. Visual classi-
fication of each soil stratun encounters was made in the field by a Civil
Engineer at the time the test holes were drilled.
The location of the test holes are shown on the attached application.
The deep pits are recrsmpended to be to a depth of 25' .
Percolation test were performed in the holes with a copy of these tests
attached. It can be seen from the tests the the perk rate for the tests were
7" per hour for test hole No. 1 on parcel 1 and 17" per hour for test hole 2
on parcel 2. We feel that the deep holes more then meet the requirements as
set forth by the State and San Joaquin County Public Health Services Division.
We recommend the Septic tanks, leach lines with deep pits as laid out in the
County leach line requirements based on number of bedrooms.
V11 CONCLUSICN
.Based on the results of the percolation test, the soil profile and the
past performance of the existing septic systems in the area and the wells in
service in this area would not be adversely affected or be detreimental to
the ground water supply and will meet the requirements of the San Joaquin
County Public Health Services Department.
V111. LIMITATIONS
The conclusions in this report are for the information gathered only and
does not warrent any portion of the site not tested. It is assumed that the
test results should be representative of the site as a whole.
Sincerely,
William Armstrong, P.E.
C
