Oak Street <br /> Lodi, CA 95240 <br /> RE: Nitrate Loading Study <br /> 6599 E Foppiano Lane, Stockton <br /> APN 086-410-20, SR0080520, PA-1800174 (MS) <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the (NL) Study, <br /> dated April 17, 2019 and has the following comments for your consideration. <br /> The NL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential impact of nitrate to groundwater, for a proposed <br /> minor subdivision of a 5.45 acre parcel into two parcels, parcel one containing 2.9 acres and parcel <br /> two to contain 2.55 acres. Both resultant parcels have existing structures, including a residence on <br /> each parcel. <br /> The NL study indicates the potential nitrate impact to groundwater from the existing homes should <br /> not cause a buildup of nitrates in the aquifer above the 10 mg/I water quality objective. <br /> Based on the above information, the EHD has determined that the above noted parcel is suitable for <br /> standard OWTS usage for the existing usage, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title <br /> 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). However, future development on these parcels that generate additional <br /> wastewater may require additional studies at the time of development. <br /> In addition, please be advised that pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section <br /> 9-115.8(b) each parcel will need to have its own water supply well. <br /> If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Program Coordinator, at (209) 468- <br /> 3444 or mkith@sjgov.org. <br /> Michael Kith, REHS <br /> Program Coordinator <br /> C'.
