CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions in the percolation test locations appear to be suitable for
use with on-site septic systems. Satisfactory soil percolation rates of 2.6 min/in (Parcel
1) and 3.1 min/in (Parcel 2) were observed in the test locations.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is estimated to range between
105 to 108 feet below ground surface. Based on maps reviewed, the ground-water flow
was to the east at a rate of approximately six feet per mile for fall of 2016; no rate could
be calculated for spring of 2016.
The on-site domestic water well was tested for nitrate and DBCP. Nitrate was detected
at a concentration of 7.2 mg/L-N in the water sample, below the US EPA drinking water
recommendation of 10 mg/L-N. DBCP was not detected in the sample.
We believe the Site suitable for the use of standard septic systems utilizing leach lines
and seepage pits.
LOGE 1816 Page 8
