The data is included in this letter
as Attachment A.
In July 2008, the Regional Board approved the Final RAP (SVE/GAS and quarterly monitoring)
for the Busy Bee site. Full scale implementation of the RAP commenced in August 2008.
Two separate sampling schedules are required for the site; MRP schedule and Milestone
Sampling schedule. Two rounds of sampling have occurred since the SVE/GAS has been in
operation, one quarterly monitoring event and the 25% Milestone event. Results of the two
events are depicted in Table 1 below. The 25% Milestone sampling event took place 18
December 2008 with staff from both the Regional Board and E2C. Groundwater samples
were collected from all "key wells" by Greg Brandin (E2C) and Roberto Cervantes (Regional
Board) and were transported to CLS by Roberto Cervantes on 18 December 2008 at 4.50 pm.
Table 1 — Sampling results of Key Wells
Baseline EXABB MW-06 MWABB MW-4BB MW-5BB MW-6BB MW-7BB MW-9BB MW-19BB Total ARG
PCE (ug/L) 240 55 194 25 80.6 51 340 66 130 1,181.6 0.5
Future Milestone Analytical Data
Date EX-1 B6 MW-06 MWABB MW4BB MW-5BB MW-6BB MW-7BB MW-9BB MW-19BB Total Reduction Reduction %
Milestone
9/24/2004 144 24.6 86.4 18.6 39.6 17.6 128 67.8 146 672.6
12/18/2004 220 4.5 110 15 35 34 150 120 160 848.5 1,181.1 0
-_ -_ --
885.8 25
590.6 50
472.4 60
354.3 70
236.2 80
California Environmental Protection Agency
C3 Rec.trled Paper
