The offsite permit
application is for eleven (11) borings located in an alley way considered as City of Lodi right-
of-way. The Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) approved the Workplan for
this investigation by letter dated September 18, 2002 (copies of the letter and Workplan
were previously provided to you).
The eleven (11) borings are located offsite in City of Lodi right-of-way in the alley bounded
by Elm Street to the north, Stockton Street to the east, West Pine Street to the south, and
North Main Street to the west. An additional tentative offsite location is proposed in the
sidewalk on the south side of Elm Street and will be advanced depending on the findings of
onsite borings. An encroachment permit application has been submitted to Ms. Jeannie
Matsumoto - Department of Public Works, City of Lodi for access to the city right-of-way
locations.
The fieldwork is scheduled to begin on October 15, 2002 and is planned for completion on
October 18, 2002. Attached is Check #11394 for$89.00 to cover the permit application fee.
We trust that the information provided in this letter is sufficient for processing the offsite
drilling permit application. If you have any questions or comments regarding this letter,
please contact the undersigned at (661) 831-6906.
Respectfully Submitted:
 a'p
f'v, C
Mark W.
