inspection (11/18/15). This CTL was not available for review. <br /> A. Waste tire manifests shall be retained at the place of business for 3 years. <br /> B. Ensure subsequent manifests are saved and stored on site. <br /> 3.) A/C T14 CCR Section 17351 (c)- Facility does not have a pike pole at least 10ft in length. Facility does not <br /> have 1 round point and 1 square point shovel. <br /> A. Adequate equipment to aid in the control of fires shall be provided and maintained at the waste tire facility or <br /> solid waste facility at all times. At a minimum, the following items shall be maintained on site and in working <br /> order at all times: <br /> - Buildings or structures shall be equipped with portable fire extinguishers in accordance with Section 906 of the <br /> California Fire Code. <br /> -One (1) pike pole or comparable pole at least 10 feet in length to separate burning from non-burning tires. <br /> -One (1) round point and one (1) square point shovel. <br /> -One (1) portable fire extinguisher with a minimum rating of A:40-B:C shall be carried on each piece of fuel- <br /> powered equipment used to handle waste tires. <br /> B. Either obtain pike pole, round point, and square point shovel or obtain approval for alternative requirements <br /> from local fire authority. <br /> 4.)A/C PRC 42834- Facility is storing more than 499 waste tires on site and has not submitted a permit <br /> exclusion notification form. <br /> A. An excluded business must fill out a permit exclusion notification form in order to be excluded from obtaining <br /> a minor waste tire facility permit. <br /> B. Complete and submit permit exclusion notification form to CalRecycle. <br /> Notes: <br /> 1.)TPID certificate is posted behind the front counter. <br /> 2.)According to owner, facility has been closed for approximately 1 year and recently re-opened. <br /> 3.) Permission to conduct inspection granted by Franqui Torres (Owner). <br /> 4.)Waste tires were stored in a pile outdoors in the center of the property. The pile measured 1 1f x 18ft x 8ft. <br /> PTE was calculated as follows: <br /> 11 ft x 18ft x 8ft= 1584 <br /> 1584/27 = 58.67 cubic yards <br /> 58.67 x 14 (laced) =821.38 <br /> 821.38 x .8=657.104 <br /> 5.) Retain all waste tire manifests, disposal receipts, and logs for 3 years. <br /> 6.) Permit exclusion notification form was provided to owner during this inspection. <br /> 7.) Facility only stores its waste tires at this location. <br />
