All sand products from the Gold Jigs, the Screens, and the Log Washers converge and pass through a Cyclone and 2 Sand Screws (30 hp and 20 hp) (400 gpm water added) to separate any further unwanted clays and silts. Proposed New Equipment As an alternative feed route, the raw feed will be introduced into a Pioneer Dozer Trap with Feeder Mechanism (15 hp) , then conveyed (20 hp) to a 6 x 16 ' 3-Deck Wet Screen. skid mounted, semi-portable screen tower structure (30 hp) . This screen will remove 100% of the free sands, which will be pumped as a sand slurry through the new "Clean Sand" processing system. The coarse material will pass through to the existing Feed Hopper. As the new Screen can process material faster than the existing Feed Hopper can accept it, overflow chutes will allow excess material to be conveyed to a Feed Stockpile, for later processing through the system. The existing 2-Deck Symons Screen will be replaced by a Hewitt Robins Horizontal 5 x 16 ' 3-Deck Wet Screen, to be mounted into the existing screen tower structure (25 hp) . This screen will allow oversized material to be bypassed back to the startup of the process (15 hp) , while coarse aggregate material continues on to the existing Log Washers. Fines from the new 5 ' x 16 ' 3-Deck Screen are conveyed (10 hp) back through a Cedar Rapids 40 x 20 Model Dual Roll Crusher (75 hp) , and thence back to the startup of the process (15 hp) , where these sands pass through the "Clean Sand" processing system. . The second existing 2-Deck Screen will be replaced by a Hewitt Robins Inclined 5 x 16 ' 3-Deck Wet Screen, skid mounted, semi- portable screen tower structure (20 hp) . This screen will allow a final separation of "Fill Sand" material before the remaining rock aggregate is split into stockpiles. Coarse aggregate material from the 5 ' x 16 ' 3-Deck Screen will pass through Enclosed Splitter Chutes and be conveyed to one of Three New Stockpiles; 1 x #4, 1 1/8 x 3/8, and 3/8 x /34 (20 hp, 20 hp, and 20 hp) . Additional proposed new equipment will allow the further processing of "clean sand" recovered from the Cyclones. This sand will be fed through a Sand Feeder (10 hp) to a Wemco #20 Attrition Machine (200 hp) which will break down and remove the less resistant sand particles, with the addition of water. The resultant sand slurry will be pumped (75 hp) through a Kolberg 8 x 28 Sand Classification System (15 hp) which includes a 8 ' x 32 ' Sand Classifier and a 44 ' x 32 ' Sand Screw (15 hp) .
