Other Requirements may also apply. These <br /> Requirements cannot be modified. <br /> A. A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface <br /> contamination report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface <br /> contamination caused by past or current land uses. The report shall include <br /> evaluation of nonpoint source of hazardous materials, including agricultural chemical <br /> residues, as well as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems, <br /> or chemical storage areas. If the report indicates there is contamination, corrective <br /> action shall be taken, as recommended in the report and concurred with by <br /> Environmental Health prior to recording of the final map (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-905.12(a)(c) ). <br /> B. A soil suitability study, as required by Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, indicating that the area is suitable for a septic tank system must be <br /> performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map/or issuance of a building permit. A <br /> review fee of$156.00 is required at time of submittal to the Environmental Health <br /> Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San <br /> Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of <br /> the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel.
