k'q KLEINFELDER <br /> 5 HISTORY OF THE SITE <br /> The history of the site was researched to identify obvious uses of the site from the present to,first <br /> developed use, or back to 1930, whichever is earlier, from readily available resources, including <br /> aerial photographs, Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, city directories, historical topography maps, <br /> interviews, and title information(if provided by client). <br /> 5.1 AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY <br /> Historical aerial photographs were reviewed to evaluate past land use at the site and in the <br /> surrounding area. Aerial photographs covering 41 years were available during the time frame of <br /> this report. Aerial.photographs dated 1940, 1952, 1963, 1975 and 1983 were reviewed at San <br /> Joaquin County Public Works in Stockton, California. The summary of aerial photograph review <br /> is presented, as follows: <br /> Date: 06/02/40 <br /> Photograph ID: ABD-334-17 <br /> Scale: I inch = 660 feet <br /> Type: Monoscopic, Black and White <br /> Source: San Joaquin County Public Works <br /> Quality: Good <br /> In the 1940 aerial photograph, there is a single possible structure present in the northeast corner <br /> of the subject site. The remaining area of the subject is was a vacant field with grass growing <br /> throughout the property.
