f <br /> a' REPORT <br /> SUBSURFACE EDDROCARBON INVESTIGATION <br /> FORMER "=ON SERVICE STATION <br /> 909. .TEST BANNER LANE <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> nxeR4R_RR 22, 1986 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> 1 <br /> This report presents the results of Groundwater Technology, <br /> Inc's subsurface investigation at the former Exxon service <br /> VP station located at 9 <br /> 09 West Hammer Lane in Stockton, California <br /> (See Figure 1, Site Location Map) The investigation was <br /> performed in accordance with a work request dated November 4, <br /> 1986 from Robert Owens of Exxon Company U.S.A. In brief the 5 <br /> ri .. <br /> investigation was to include drilling of one soil boring, soil <br /> sampling/analysis, installation of a monitoring well if necessary <br /> }< ' and water sampling/analysis of this well and two existing wells. <br /> 3 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> ill <br /> The site is located in central Stockton in a mixed <br /> F residential and commercial zone. <br /> The site is situated at <br /> i <br /> approximately 15 'feet above sea level within the central valley <br /> z of California. ' The Exxon station. has` been closed since <br /> y November <br /> a< of 2985 due to failure of a product Zine. Subsequently, the <br /> r� underground fuel storage tanks, product lines, pump islands and <br /> buildings were removed from the site.
