The amount of fuel lost was uncertain. Groundwater <br /> Technology, Inc. (GTI) supervised the subsequent <br /> F line removal. GTI installed two monitoring wellstinkJanuaryand 1986 <br /> Y 6 <br /> and an additional well in December 1986 (Figure 4) . On the basis <br /> of the boring logs, the materials immediately underlying the site <br /> e consist predominantly of clays and sands, lesser with <br /> Y amounts.:af <br /> { silt, silty clay, and silty sand with increasing depth. <br /> Two more monitoring wells were installed by GTI in May 1987, and <br /> water samples were collected and analyzed from all five wells at <br /> that time.
