e
t7ITY OF TRACY
P. O. UpE 1(129 • TNACICAIJ FOR NIA 953]6 - Ares Code 209: 835-2211 t- -
April 12 , 1979
Regional Water Quality
Control Board
Central Valley Region
3251 "S" Street
Sacramento, CA. 95816
Sirs:
I am enclosing our self monitoring reports and a summary of
operations data for March 1979 .
Effluent flow meter data was not accurate during March; therefore,
numbers reported are calculated flows based on the combined in-
fluent flows minus wasted flows. One BOD value and one suspended
solids value were not reported because they were invalid due to
laboratory and sampling errors. Our new effluent BOD and Suspended
Solids 30-day average of 35 mggl became effective for March. We
exceeded our effluent minimuehlimit three times and our turbidity
increase limit between the two receiving stream sample points twice.
Out of a total of 105 grab samples of our final effluent taken for
chlorine residual analysis , we exceeded our daily limit only 17
times,
As can be determined from the data, we accomplished 96. 9% BOD
removal and 97. 0% Suspended Solids removal through our treatment
plant in March 1979,
Please let us know if you require anything further.
Sincerely yours ,
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
DARRELL D. SCOTT
Lab. Technician II
DDS: mg
cc: Michael Locke
San Joaquin Local Health District
Enclosures
