installed for regulatory compliance issues are not plotted on this search
No wells appear to be located on-site or within the 2000-foot radius. The well search
revealed several industrial and irrigation wells at Holly Sugar to the north and one City of
'(racy test well south just outside the radius. Nine domestic water wells are beyond the
2000-foot search radius and one domestic well has been destroyed. The nearest wells
(Holly Sugar irrigation and Mcusburgcr dairy) occur at the western edge of the search
jadius. Based on the available well screen and sealing information, the wells appear to be
screened below the uppermost aquifer investigated and sampled for this study. On this
basis of this data, Wright does not believe that the on-site dissolved contaminant is a
potential threat to existing water wells and deeper aquifer,
A-5 Site Maps with Boring"Emill4wa ter Contours.ExcafiQfl Areas, Utilities
Site maps showing exploratory boring and groundwater well locations, former
underground tank location, utilities and general site geography are presented in Appendix
A.
16 Explointory&ring and olngh,Cross Sertinnc
The exploratory boring logs and the monitoring well construction details and geologic
cross sections are presented in attached in Appendix A.
7.?YOWIM of Soil Excavated andGroundwaterExcavation
Wright removed one 8,000-gallon diesel storage tank for the WWTP In January 1998.
The tank was located under the sidewalk adjacent to the backup generator for the
treatment plant buildings (see Figure 2). Approximately 40 cubic yards of contaminated
soil was excavated and ultimately returned to the excavation. Later Wright installed an
8,000-gallon ConVault fuel tank to replace the removed UST. No groundwater was
pumped from the excavation.
2!&Fate of On-site Existing Men toring Wells
One groundwater monitoring well currently exists. It is Wright's understanding that the
City of Tracy will property destroy the existing monitoring well under approved EHD
permits upon the receipt by the City of an approved Closure Summary Report and NFAR.
2.9 Table of Grounrlr -ter Elevations and Deptlis to Water
Historic groundwater elevations and depths to water are provided in the attached Table 6;
Monitoring Well Groundwater Measurement Data is attached with the historic
groundwater monitoring data(see Table 7).
4389/CSR1Rcpt Page 6 or 17
