APPLICATION - QUARRY EXCAVATION <br /> T. <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> FILE NUMBER: QX- <br /> FOOT NOTES <br /> 1. If an Environmental Impact Report/Statement was prepared for the proposed operation, it may be used to satisfy some or all of <br /> the requirements of this section. Reference the document by title and page number and append copies of the appropriate pages <br /> to the reclamation plan. <br /> 2. The map should cover an area of several miles around the site and display the following information: <br /> nearby towns natural drainage <br /> roads/highways streams/lakes/springs <br /> railroads wells <br /> utilities residences <br /> buildings other pertinent features <br /> Use U.S. geological Survey 7-'/2 or 15 minute maps, which are the most accurate and useful. These maps are commonly <br /> available through sporting goods stores,or they may be ordered from the U.S. Geological Survey. <br /> 3. Information on geology may be available from the Geologic Map of California series, published by the California Division of Mines <br /> and Geology. <br /> 4. This information can be obtained from: local agencies(California Department of Fish and Game, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of <br /> Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service); the California Natural Diversity Data Base; local experts;or a field survey of <br /> the area. If field surveys are appropriate,they should be conducted as follows: <br /> a. at the proper time of year when rare or endangered species are both evident and identifiable; <br /> b. every species noted in the field should be identified to the extent necessary to ensure that it is neither rare,endangered, nor <br /> of special concern. <br /> 5. The map should be at a scale appropriate to show the desired information and include a north arrow and coordinate system.
